Oktobeerfest 2020 Details!
While we cannot have a big event this year like usual, we will still be cooking up something festive for the community.
Capacity on site remains the same, but if you visit us on the weekend of Oct 2nd-4th we will be transformed into a socially-distant German beer hall.
We like to think of this as our smallest Oktobeerfest in a long time, so we appreciate the continued support through the year we all know as 2020. Here come the details...
** German Food This Weekend **
Since we know that it's impossible for everyone who visit and enjoy the event on site, we have also put together some special meal kits available for pre-order:
• Jägerschnitzel -- Breaded & fried pork cutlet topped with a mushroom gravy on top
• Bratwurst w/ brewery-made sauerkraut, Bavarian mustard, on a pretzel roll
• Sides: Rotkohl, German Potato Salad, Spaetzle, Sauerkraut
• Oversized Bavarian Pretzels w/ Sweet Mustard
** Beer Releases **
As for beer, our Oktoberfest Lager goes on tap this coming Tuesday, the first day of Fall. But that's not all we've been brewing.
On Oct 1st, we will also tap 2 new brews, a Lemon Hefeweizen and a Dunkelweizen!
** 2020 Litersteins **
PRE-SALES HAVE ENDED! If you purchased one, we will alert you via email when they have arrived so that you can pick yours up.
Also starting Monday, we will open up pre-sale for 2020 "grandfathered" Litersteins. Grandfathered steins are good for a discounted fill for the lifetime of the glass. For the past 8 years, the discount expired after the following Oktobeerfest event, but due to the limitations in the world currently we wanted to make this year's mug special.
When the steins do arrive, you will receive your first fill free. We will miss celebrating with a full room of hoisted beer mugs this year, but maybe we can plan a Literstein Heritage Night post-pandemic when things are much more normal.
Til then, we hope you will join us in celebrating our smallest Oktobeerfest in a long time, Oct 2nd-4th, either on site with us in our limited capacity or from home. PROST!
