Who is Dunedin Brewery?
Dunedin Brewery was founded in 1995 by Michael Norman Bryant, following his deep passion for home-brewing. Officially brewing by 1996, the first keg to be delivered was an Imperial Brown Ale to Skip's Bar & Grille in Downtown Dunedin.
Today, we are a full-fledged microbrewery with a kitchen & live entertainment nearly every night of the week. Whether you're looking for experimental world-class beers, a quick bite to eat, or simply a place to kick back and enjoy some live music—Dunedin Brewery is the the place to be.
As the oldest microbrewery in Florida, we've played a crucial part in many important developments within Florida's craft beer scene—including formation of the Florida Brewers Guild; Fighting the Florida bottle law in 2001 to allow a more diversity in the marketplace; Formation of Tampa Bay Beer Week; & even consulting numerous up-and-coming breweries on licensing & brewery design/construction..
Located at 937 Douglas Avenue in delightful Downtown Dunedin, we have helped cultivate a hyper-local passion for beer that has inspired 8 other breweries to open up in our quaint downtown's within a single square mile of a beer barrel district—including our side project, the Antibrewery (currently on hiatus).
