Climbing up the Walls: A Tribute to Radiohead

Climbing Up the Walls: A Tribute to Radiohead, will debut at Dunedin Brewery on Sunday, March 15. Musicians from at least seven Tampa area bands will be a part of this production.

Rochelle Siddiq, the ringleader, is a singer/songwriter who has been involved in a variety of projects including her own acoustic singer/songwriter project, Long Drive Home. Taylor Michael Brown is the guitarist with Siddiq in Long Drive Home. Mark Mayea from Ajeva and Anthill Cinema will be the wizard on the keyboard. Tucker Sody, the drummer for livetronica trio Future Vintage, will be on drums and auxiliary synths. Levi Foe from Ella Jet and Future Soul, will be handling bass and synths.

Other musicians that will be featured throughout the show include: Ella Jet-singer/songwriter of Ella Jet and Future Soul will lend her vocals. Dan Jones-guitarist/lead singer for The Reality on trombone. Audrey Short-singer/guitarist of Tropico Blvd on vocals/harmonies.

Opening the show will be La Lucha, the notorious local jazz trio featuring; Alejandro Arenas, bass; Mark Feinman, drums; and John O'Leary, piano. Radiohead: arguably the most accomplished art-rock band of the early 21st century. The British quintet formed in 1985 and made a huge splash with their first single in 1992, “Creep.” Members of the band are Thom Yorke, vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards; Jonny Greenwood, lead guitar, keyboards, other instruments; Colin Greenwood, bass; Ed O’Brien, guitar, backing vocals; and Philip Selway, drums, percussion. Clive Deamer added drums and percussion 2011-16.

Radiohead produced nine highly acclaimed albums, beginning with Pablo Honey (1993). Their last studio album, from 2016, was A Moon Shaped Pool. The rest of their discography: The Bends (1995), OK Computer (1997), Kid A (2000), Amnesiac (2001), Hail to the Thief (2003), In Rainbows (2007), and The King of Limbs (2011). Radiohead has become “a touchstone for everything that is fearless and adventurous in rock.” Join us as we pay tribute and celebrate the music of these four revolutionary musicians.
